Ligon-Notes on sharecropping

These are some idiosyncratic notes on sharecropping. Written by Ethan Ligon for a course in Development Economics (ARE 251) taught at Berkeley; also used in a course on agricultural policy  (ARE 241).

Features a novel result describing a simple static environment with hidden actions in which linear sharing contracts are optimal.
